DEEP MIXING METHODS

Our equipment can perform both the conventional dry deep mixing methods as well as the MDM™ method.

The dry deep mixing method is the most common method in Scandinavia today. A mixture of dry cement and un- slaked lime is injected and in-situ mixed into the soil by means of a rotary mixing tool. Typical applications are roads, railroads, embankments, sheet pile supports and solidifying for excavation purposes.

The MDM™ method is a further development of the dry method with the controlled addition of water. This allows for larger binder quantities and higher strengths, better homogeneity and installation in harder, dryer soils. Applications are high embankments, wind-power plant foundations, building foundations and dry soils in general.

Maximum depth for both methods is just over 20 meters.
